La Primitiva is Spain’s oldest and one of its most popular lotteries, dating back to 1763. It is operated by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, the Spanish national lottery organization.
Players choose 6 numbers from 1 to 49, plus a Reintegro number (0 to 9). There is also a Complementario number drawn, which can boost winnings in certain prize tiers.
Draws are held twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays.
